QS Arab Region University Content 2019

.

With 16 locations around the world represented, this year’s Arab region ranking is the biggest-ever. While there are no new faces in this year’s top 10, there has been a change at the top with last year’s second-placed university, the King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM), swapping places with the American University of Beirut.

KFUPM is one of three Saudi Arabian universities in the top five. No other location is as well-represented in this year’s top 10.

10 different indicators have all been assessed for this year’s ranking, including academic and employer reputation and the research impact of each university. More information about the methodology can be found here.
