About us

, with four campuses in Spain, two in Madrid (Villaviciosa de Odón and Alcobendas), one in Valencia and one in the Canary Islands (La Orotava), is an innovative institution geared towards adding value to society and contributing to its progress.

International Recognition of quality
We have received recognition from independent bodies that have accredited the quality of our institution, such as the “QS Stars” international rating system, which has awarded us four out of five stars. We have also received the rating’s maximum score of five stars in Employability, Teaching, Facilities and Social Responsibility. The European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) has awarded us with the European Seal of Excellence 500+. It is the maximum recognition granted by this organization, and highlights excellent organizational management.  We have been included in the list of universities registered by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, which means we are one of the Spanish universities officially recommended by the Chinese Government for its students who want to study abroad.

Campuses and Facilities


Villaviciosa de Odón - Madrid

The Villaviciosa de Odón Campus is the biggest Universidad Europea campus, boasting innovative facilities where our students carry out practical assignments and come into contact with the professional world from day one. Academic, professional and personal life find a complementary balance at the Villaviciosa de Odón Campus. The student dormitory has capacity for more than 500 students from Spain and abroad, 14,000 square meters of sports facilities and the extensive Dulce Chacón library where students can study and complete their training in a comfortable and enriching setting.

Alcobendas - Madrid

An experiential Campus well on the way to becoming a benchmark in the field of higher education.
It is designed to be a unique space where the University is in permanent contact with the professional business world.
The Campus has a space within Universidad Europea called HUB Emprende, dedicated to learning, work, and creativity. It aims to promote entrepreneurship among students and anyone who wants to develop their project in this space.

Orotova – Canary Islands

Since 2012, Universidad Europea has had a campus on the island of Tenerife to bring its distinctive model of innovative, comprehensive, quality education to the Canary Islands. We are the first international university on the Islands and at our Campus in La Orotava (Tenerife) we boast a cutting-edge academic model that is unique to the islands, and whose main purpose is to turn our students into highly- employable professionals.

Valencia

The Valencia campus is located in Valencia city center: opposite the Jardines de Viveros right on Avenida Aragón, connected with the city’s business and university area. It has four buildings housing two libraries, communal study areas, laboratories for various departments such as architecture and languages, as well as its own dental health clinic.

At Universidad Europea you will be immersed in an environment of learning, innovation and growth from the get-go, where the university experience plays an essential role.

There

Handsthinking: Students from the School of Architecture, Engineering and Design organize an event that is open to the public where they present their projects and get involved in workshops that use teamwork to resolve a challenge.

Sierra Nevada World Championship: Students take part in organizing this prestigious championship, train with elite athletes and get their advice.

Communication Week: During this week students take part in workshops that help them understand the reality of all Communication disciplines: future advertising agents learn from the executives of Campofrío how their brand has evolved from product communication to “love brand” communication, and journalists and communicators learn the secrets to create successful formats from professionals such as Pepa Bueno or Carlos Sobera.

Teddy Bear Hospital: This fun event is organized by students of Medicine. They teach children about the concepts of Medicine, letting them experience the role of doctors for themselves. Students also get a chance to work with pediatric patients.


Conferences and Seminars

We schedule regular meetings through conferences, round tables and seminars so you can learn about the real world and the keys to success from renowned professionals and world leaders. We have been visited by heads of state such as Bill Clinton, Tony Blair and Felipe González; figures such as Daniel Goleman and Zygmunt Bauman; and top-level business icons like Apple co-founder Stephen Wozniak. We also offer you different perspectives and encourage debates on different issues of interest with talks run by the TEDx community.


Clubs

You can also enjoy university life by joining our clubs, which have been recognized on various occasions for their contributions; including the UEM Formula club or the Europea Media Communication club.

 


Entry requirements vary depending on the program you are applying to.

Legal entry requirements for undergraduate programs: if you have completed an International or European High School Diploma, or come from an educational system of the European Union or other countries with a reciprocal agreement:  you must request the relevant accreditation from the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED) and we will validate its issue on the UNED platform.

If you have completed an educational system in a country with no reciprocal agreement: you must require the official high school diploma recognition resolution from the Ministry of Education (MECD).  

Legal entry requirements for graduate programs an official undergraduate diploma that depending on the country of origin has to be translated and legalized.
