North South University is the first private university to be established in Bangladesh, having opened its doors in 1992. Currently, over 13,000 students are studying at the university’s campus in Dhaka, the country’s capital city. The university is split into four schools:

  • Business and Economics
  • Engineering and Physical Sciences
  • Humanities and Social Sciences
  • Health and Life Sciences

The university also has an Institute of Modern Language, a Chinese-language only institution, an ICT center, and a student branch of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the largest technical professional organization dedicated to world-improving technologies. Tuition fees must be paid in full upon registering at the university. Fee amounts are listed on the university website.
