With it’s rich history and respectable traditions Saint-Petersburg Mining University celebrated its 240th anniversary in 2013. It was founded by decree of Empress Catherine II in 1703 and since that time the University has saved all traditions and has successfully completed several expansion campaigns.
Today Saint-Petersburg Mining University which main campus is located in the historic center of Saint-Petersburg trains more than 6,000 students on 8 departments.
